Instant, real-time DVCProHD full-screen playback* with selective audio streams on a resizable, fast to navigate interface;

MXF File Association – Playback P2 footage from any locations, by just double-clicking the mxf file - without specifying locations or require original P2 folder structure [ex. Avid MediaFiles folder];

Convert MXF files to 1:1 DVCPROHD AVIs, Windows Media Format, Image sequences or other formats for further editing or compositing work without the use of expensive editing software.

Master log records every event with time and date stamps. Double clicking the log list, an advanced log analyzer will open and tell you what, when and where was transferred from the moment the program was installed.

Personal Shooting Assistant (PSA)

PSA is a 'take' validation tool. At first, we elaborated and actually developed an application that would run on PDAs and other mobile systems, that would allow easier validation of takes by just pressing a button, instead of recording timecodes. And it worked pretty good..

But, here`s another thought... Not many would had a PDA, batteries would drawn quick, it`s still not easy enough, and really not so exciting.. But, most would poses a photo camera.. or at least a cell with a photo camera.

You gotta love simple ideas. One would take pictures after each good take. Open P2Forge, and select the Validation tool, point it to the pictures folder, and let it select all the footage shot at the time the photo was taken. And don`t worry, you can compensate time difference between devices if there is one..
